Here is the exact steps I took to achieve this Social Care Business Coaching Success.
The saving was made due to huge over-staffing, and overuse on agency. The steps were,
1️⃣ Create a full staff profile on a spreadsheet. This shows who is in the home CURRENTLY. Use 30 minutes steps for every day . This will provide total weekly hours per role.
2️⃣ Add in cost per hour to give total weekly cost per role.
3️⃣ Create a staffing ladder to show EXACTLY how many staff are needed for the number of residents.
4️⃣ Repeat steps 1 and 2 but this time use the staffing ladder as a model
5️⃣ Identify where the excess hours are and put in place a plan for reduction.
All of this is pointless unless,
