The one figure most Care Company owners don't know.
And it is a real surprise...
To run a successful, and profitable, Social care company, there are 2 big figures you need to know. Last week we looked at the first.
This week I will explain the one most don't know....
2️⃣ How much does the average 'unit' of care cost the company. This can be:
🕦 The cost of a 'Care Hour' for a Home Care company,
or
🛏️ the average weekly cost per bed
Once you have this figure then you can use it together with your Average Weekly Fee to gain a basic understanding of profit per unit.
Once we go through these figures and add it to the scorecard, many Social Care owners and operators are shocked at the result.
These 2 simple metrics go into the weekly Scorecard that my clients use as a measure of success. We add further metrics according to what we are currently trying to achieve.
What are you measuring?
